Luxury Spa Awards 2016 - Titanic Spa wins 2 awards

Titanic Spa collecting awards

Titanic Spa, the UK’s first eco-spa, has won two prestigious awards at this year’s World Luxury Spa Awards held in Switzerland.

Our Operations Manager Natalie Hart and the team attended the ceremony and we came away with the Country Winner for the UK’s Best Luxury Destination Spa award for the second time in a row and also the Global Award for the Best Luxury Eco Spa.

The 2016 World Luxury Spa and Restaurant Awards ceremony was hosted at the gorgeous Grand Hotel Kronenhof, Pontresina, Switzerland amongst beautiful gardens and a picturesque mountain backdrop. The awards aim to encourage and raise standards within the luxury spa industry.

Titanic Spa, situated in the rolling countryside of Yorkshire, has maintained exceptional eco-credentials since we redeveloped the Titanic Mill in 2005. Since then, we have undertaken significant transformations to help the environment and improve our sustainability, such as:

•    Using spring water for our pools, spas and spa treatments
•    Healthy, seasonal menu which supports our dedication to environment sustainability
•    Renewable energy sources through solar roof panels
•    Energy efficient lighting throughout the building
•    Recycling bins provided for guests and apartment owners

These factors, as well as many more, contributed to Titanic Spa’s recognition on a global scale.

We were up against major luxury spa brands such as the St. Regis in Doha and the Grand Hotel Kronenhof itself.

Nominations were evaluated by a selected global panel of independent spa consultants from 144 countries. As Titanic Spa has now won two awards, we will automatically be enrolled onto next year’s nominations list.

From everyone here at Titanic Spa, we would like to thank the team behind their success and all of our loyal customers who voted for us after visiting on their spa breaks in Yorkshire, returning year after year for our luxury spa experience.
